Peer Review Process

PEER REVIEW PROCESS AND EDITORIAL DECISIONS

The editorial staff reads all submitted manuscripts. Manuscripts that are judged not to be in accordance with the criteria of the journal by the editor are immediately rejected without external review. Manuscripts that are judged to be potentially of interest to our readers are sent to double-blind reviewers. The editor then makes a decision based on the reviewer's recommendation from several possibilities: rejected, requires major revision, requires minor revision, or is accepted.

The Editor-in-Chief of the marathon Journal has the right to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal will be published.

 Review Process:

  1. The author submits the manuscript
  2. Editor Evaluation (some manuscripts were rejected or returned before the review process)
  3. Proses peer review double-blind
  4. Editor's Decision
  5. Confirmation to the author

Publication Frequency

This journal is published twice a year, namely in May and October

All research articles published in Marathon: Jurnal Pendidikan Jasmani Universitas Tanjungpura are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download, and share. As in accordance with Budapest Open Access Initiative, by "˜open access"™ to this literature, we mean its free availability to the public, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers. Articles are published under the terms of a Creative Commons license, which permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
