Focus and Scope

Jurnal Visi Ilmu Pendidikan published manuscripts on research in education, particularly related to teaching and learning, theory and practice in education, education policy, curriculum and materials development, education on culture and characters of nation, teacher education, and other relevant activities. The journal  welcomes submissions from around the world

Peer Review Process

The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers. The accepted research articles will be available online following the journal peer-reviewing process. Language used in this journal is English or Indonesia.

Peer review is designed to assess the validity, quality and often the originality of articles for publication. Its ultimate purpose is to maintain the integrity of science by filtering out invalid or poor quality articles.

From a publishers perspective, peer review functions as a filter for content, directing better quality articles to better quality journals and so creating journal brands.

Running articles through the process of peer review adds value to them. For this reason publishers need to make sure that peer review is robust.

Peer Review at Its Best

What peer review does best is improve the quality of published papers by motivating authors to submit good quality work  and helping to improve that work through the peer review process.

In fact, 90% of researchers feel that peer review improves the quality of their published paper (University of Tennessee and CIBER Research Ltd, 2013).

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Visi Ilmu Pendidikan  is a Journal published online twice a year, January and July.

Since 2024  Jurnal Visi Ilmu Pendidikan will be published 3 times a year (January, May and September).

Open Access Policy

Jurnal VIsi Ilmu Pendidikan  is a  peer-reviewed  journal  with  open access.  The article  processing  or  delivery of  the manuscript  submitted to  the manager or editor  through  an online system  or  by using the  OJS  Open Access  publishing model.

In  this  publishing model,  papers are  peer-reviewed  in the normal way  under  editorial control.  The paper  appears  electronically  and freely available  fro
m  our website.  Authors  can also use  articles  that  have been published  in pdf format  either  for  non-commercial use  on  a personal website  or non-commercial  institutions.  Users have  the right to read, download,  copy,  distribute, print,  search,  or  link  to the  full  text of  articles in Jurnal Visi Ilmu Pendidikan
