About the Journal

Peer Review Process

Articles submitted to SEA must be in accordance with the template provided and downloadable on the website. If the article does not match the template it will be rejected. The author will receive email replies after the draft of the article is received by the editorial staff. The review process (double-blind) will take about 4 weeks and the editorial staff will send the review results to the author. There are 3 decisions about the article, namely (1) accepted without revision, (2) accepted with revision, and (3) rejected. Articles received without revision will be forwarded to the editorial staff for final editing. Articles received with revision will then be sent back to the author to improve the article in accordance with the direction of the reviewer. Revision must be completed by the author up to 3 weeks after receiving the letter/reply from the reviewer. The revised article will be sent back to observe again. There's a chance for a second revision to happen if there's an incompatibility between the revised article and the reviewer's recommendation. The maximum time for the second revision is 2 weeks, and if there is no desired change, the reviewer will reject the article.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Social Economic Agriculture is published twice annually in June and December.

This journal provides direct open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal History

Jurnal Social Economic of Agriculture (SEA) adalah jurnal peer-review di bidang sosial dan ekonomi pertanian yang diterbitkan oleh Departemen Agribisnis, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tanjungpura. SEA pertama kali diterbitkan pada April 2012.
