Tanjungpura Legal Review (TLR) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Tanjungpura twice a year in November and May. The aim of this journal is to provide a venue for academicians, researchers and practitioners in which to publish their original research articles or review articles. The scope of the articles published in this journal deals with a broad range of topics in the fields of Criminal Law, Civil Law, Constitutional Law, International Law, Administrative Law, Islamic Law, and other contemporary issues in law. All papers submitted to this journal should be written in English or the Indonesian language.
Review Policy
Articles should be submitted electronically via the online submission website. Please note that the Journal only accepts submissions via Tanjungpura Legal Review website and cannot consider articles received by any other means. Decisions to publish a submission are based on reviews by an editorial team board and a peer reviewer who are experts and familiar with the relevant field of research. After the review process, the Managing Editor will inform the author of the acceptance, rejection or necessity of revision of the article.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Article Format

All articles submitted to this journal should be written in English or in Indonesian. Articles must be typed on A4 paper format, preferably in Microsoft Word, with a maximum length of 4000-10.000 words (including footnotes and abstract). Book reviews should be no longer than 2000 words (without footnotes). The article should be written in Arial at 11pt, with 1.5 spacing. A maximum of four levels of heading may be used. The first heading should be titled "Introduction" and the last heading should be titled "Conclusion." Main headings, sub-headings and sub-sub headings should be numbered by:
First level: Type in capitals, Roman numerals in uppercase (I, II, III, ...);
Second level: alphabets in uppercase (A, B, C, ...);
Third level: Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, ...);
Fourth level: alphabet in lowercase (a, b, c, ...);
The sequence of the sections of the article is as follows: Title; Author"™s Name; Abstract; Keywords; Introduction; Method (for original research article); Analysis and Discussion; Conclusion; and Bibliography.
Title
Titles of articles are written in bold, Arial font at 14pt, in single spacing and consisting of preferably not more than 14 words.
Author's Name
Write the full name of the author(s) without any qualifications in Arial font at 11pt. The qualifications of the author(s) may be explained in the footnotes, which also specifies the author's affiliation, contact address, postal codes, e-mail, and Tel./Fax. number.
Abstract
All articles must be submitted together with an abstract, which is preferably not more than 300 words. Abstracts are written in English and Indonesian. Abstracts from foreign authors must be translated into Indonesian. The purpose of the abstract is to identify the subject matter of the article and to summarise the distinctive contribution to the literature which the article makes. It enables the reader using electronic databases to identify articles that are of interest to them. The abstract should be clear, concise, and descriptive. Abstract should provide a brief introduction to the problem, the objective of the article, followed by a statement regarding the methodology (optional) and a brief summary of results. Abstracts are written in Arial at 10pt, in italic, with single spacing, and in one paragraph.
Keywords
Articles must have at least two and at most six keywords, which are arranged alphabetically and written in lowercase, separated by semicolons (;). Keywords are written in Arial at 10pt and in italic. The word "˜Keywords"™ must be written in bold and italic (e.g.Keywords ).
Introduction
The Introduction section should be clear and should provide the issue to be discussed in the article. At the end of the paragraph, the author(s) should end with a comment on the significance concerning identification of the issue and the objective of the research.
Method
The Method section are written in a descriptive manner and should provide a statement regarding the methodology of the research. This method is optional (only for original research articles).
Analysis and Discussion
The Analysis and Discussion section contains the results of analysis and discussion of the object of study. This section is the most important section of your article. The analysis and discussion should be clear and concise. The results should summarize scientific findings rather than providing data in great detail. Tables and figures (if any) should be presented on the same sheets of the article and should have short descriptive titles. Table should be made in an open model (without the vertical lines) and figures should be clearly readable and at least have a resolution of 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) for good printing quality.
Conclusion
The Conclusion section contains the answer of the issue and provide a clear and concise conclusion. It must not be a repeat repeat the abstract or just list experimental results, but should provide a clear explanation regarding the possible of application and/or suggestions related of the article.
