Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

1. IJoPAC publishes three issues per year (April, August, and December). 2. The submitted manuscript must be in the field of chemistry or its application. 3. The manuscript has not been published and/or is being processed for publication in another journal. All articles will be peer-reviewed. 4. The manuscript is written in Bahasa Indonesia or English. 5. The manuscript is typed using MS WORD with a white background and paper size A4 (210 mm x 297 mm). The total number of words for short communication (1500-2000 words), original article, and article review (minimum 2200 words). 6. The manuscript is submitted from the login page. 7. The manuscript contains the following parts: Title: The title must be brief but clearly describe the content of the article. The authors' names and affiliations are written below the title, as well as the email address of the first author. Abstract: the abstract is written in English with a maximum length of 200 words describing aim/background, methods, results, and conclusion. Keywords: maximum of 5 words in English. Introduction: The introduction contains backgrounds, problems, the study of literature, and outcomes. Method: In this section describe the steps of conducting the research model used and any information by which a study's validity is judged. Results and Discussion: present and discuss the research results, respectively. Conclusion: presents the outcome of the work by interpreting the findings at a higher level of abstraction than the Discussion and by relating these findings to the motivation stated in the introduction. Bibliography: should be typed in the order in which they appear in the text, numbered in parentheses, numbered consecutively, and typed after the text using numbers in square brackets. It is compulsory to use Mendeley or Zotero citation management software or others. To help authors prepare the manuscript for submission, we provide an article template in Bahasa or English. 8. The editorial board has the right to send the manuscript back to the author for revision in accordance with the advice of the reviewers or to reject the manuscript. 9. Prior to the final decision, reviewed papers are screened using iThenticate to avoid plagiarism. Proofs One set of galley proofs will be sent to the corresponding author for typographical checking only. It should be returned within three days of receipt. Further changes will not be possible. Conflict of interest All the authors must disclose the possible conflicts of interest/competing interests they may have with the publication of the manuscript or an institution or product that is mentioned in the manuscript and/or is important to the outcome of the study presented. Authors should also disclose conflicts of interest with products that compete with those mentioned in their manuscript. The conflict of interest statement should list each author separately by name. Ethical Approvals (if applicable) Patient Rights Patients have a right to privacy; thus, all the studies should be conducted with informed consent. No identifying information should be published in written descriptions, photographs, and pedigrees unless the information is essential for scientific purposes and the patient (or parent or guardian) gives written informed consent for publication.  When informed consent has been obtained, it should be indicated in the article.  Investigations with human subjects must follow the ethical standards formulated in the Helsinki Declaration of 1964, revised in 2000. All the experiments should be approved by the institutional human experimentation committee or equivalent. Animal Rights Animal experiments must follow the ethical standards for the care and use of laboratory animals. Articles involving the animal experiments must seek approval from the appropriate Ethical Committee in accordance with "Principles of Laboratory Animal Care" (NIH publication no. 85-23, revised 1985). Article Processing Charges (APCs)/Article Publication Fee This journal charges the following author fees. Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR) Authors are not necessary to pay for an article submission. Article Publication: 300,000 (IDR) The fee is charged only to authors when a submitted article is accepted and published in this journal. The fee is supposed to cover publication costs.
